GRINGOS AT THE GATE - Soccer and the US Mexico Divide
What a year. After returning from Mexico in August we interviewed Eric Wynalda, Steve Sampson, Rick Davis, Jonathon Bornstein and Claudio Suarez. Soccer analyst Nick Webster and writer Gustavo Arellano also gave us some great insight. Lots of fan interviews and MLS coverage has kept us busy through December with transcribing and translating taking up most of our time.
In early 2010 we conclude our Southern California interviews with Cobi Jones and Sigi Schmid (and maybe Paul Caligiuri). In February we head to Northern California to conclude interviews with Manny Hernandez and the staff of Soccer America. After which, we start editing in earnest.
